In my sculptural 3D-illustrations, figures are kneaded with Super Sculpey, whereas the backgrounds and objects are made of paper, wood and assorted pieces. The figures are then cured in the oven, airbrushed and set up to be photographed. Sometimes parts are photographed individually in order to be integrated into a picture with Photoshop. Finally, rough cracks, stains and the like are retouched. Nevertheless, a handmade impression will be preserved. The whole process is very elaborate, but it is certainly worth it.

Annual Report 2015 for Münze Österreich AG

For the Münze Österreich, one of the best minting facilities, I was asked to develop six double-sided illustrations plus title with figures made of plasticine. Some of the figures were supposed to represent portraits of the employees! Photos of very rare coins were later added to the pictures. The various topics included lean production, environmental protection, innovation, e-commerce, shopping and coin of the year.
